Changes after Labor Day

Posted Date: 09/02/26 (12:32 PM)

Dear USA Families,
I hope the transition back to school has been a smooth one for you and your family. I'm sure everyone is looking forward to the Labor Day Weekend and the potential of football and travel! Upon returning to school next week on Tuesday, September 8th, here are a few reminders as we continue into September.

Office Check-ins: We no longer are allowing open access to the building in the mornings. If you need to walk students to a locker, you need to check in through our main office. At this point in the year, we encourage you to NOT walk your child to their locker. The routines are set and everyone should be good to go. If you would like to speak to a teacher, you will need to contact them by email or phone. Setting up an appointment is encouraged.

Pick Up Passes: You will now be asked to show your passes when picking up your child at the end of the day. If you leave your vehicle to greet your child at the front doors, we still need to see your pass. If you don't have it, our staff will ask that you have it with you. We continue to stress the safety of our students with this process.

GSRP ONLY: Please refrain from dropping off students in the service drive next to the building. If you are brining your GSRP child into the building, you'll need to park in the front parking lot and walk them across to the K/GSRP doors. If you are later than 7:50 am, please come to the main office.

Thanks for helping make the start of the year a great one. It has been fun to see and hear all the students in the building again. Have a safe and happy holiday weekend.

USA Elementary Principal
