A USA Employee has tested positive for COVID-19. The Health Department has been notified and an investigation was done. It was confirmed that no students or staff were exposed in school or during any school activities. A second employee is under quaretine due to contact unrelated to school activities.

Our Band performance will be streamed live on October 22, 2020 @ 7:30 p.m. on our football field. Please be aware that this is a paid subscription to be able to view events.

Wednesday, Oct 14 is SAT/PSAT testing day for high school students. It is also a virtual learning day for middle school students due to the need for additional classrooms for testing.

We are excited to announce that the district is now able to broadcast video of home games on the NFHS network: www.nfhsnetwork.com. This will allow family members and friends unable to attend to be able to watch all levels of games at USA and other NFHS schools with a purchased subscription. Please make sure to register as a USA fan! If you subscribe to a monthly subscription, then 10% of fees come back to our school. If you subscribe to a yearly subscription, then 19% of fees comes back to the school. Also catch your Patriots on the NFHS Network when they travel to: Bad Axe, Brown City, Caro, Cass City, Harbor Beach, Lakers, Marlette, Reese, Sandusky, and Vassar.

We are looking forward to hosting the Cass City Red Hawks for our Homecoming game tonight. Tickets are available to be purchased for $5 at the gate on a first come, first serve basis. The gate opens at 6:00 pm. Capacity is limited. If you have already received a ticket from your athlete or band member, please present the ticket and $5 at the gate for entrance. Face masks are required to be worn at all times on school grounds.

USA Elementary School is closed today, Oct 1, due to mechanical problem. High School, Middle School, ECCC and Head Start are open as usual.

Buses are running as normal this morning (10/1) to pick up students in grades 6-12 and CTK.

Do you know a family in our school community in need of an advantage? The United Dairy Industry of Michigan has partnered with the Detroit Lions and Kroger to grant families the ability to put fresh food on the table and keep it safe. Each family chosen will receive a new refrigerator, $500 worth of groceries and $500 cash.
Recipients will also complete a “forward pass” and select a school or food pantry to receive a $2000 grant for equipment needed to provide fresh, cold milk to those who need it most.
