Dear Parents/Guardians:
Wednesday afternoon we were informed that a student at the USA Elementary and a staff member at the USA High School has tested positive for COVID-19. We have identified students who were in close contact in the elementary building and families have been provided instructions for those students to quarantine. We have also performed contact tracing in the high school building and determined no students were in close contact.
We will continue to perform contact tracing with the assistance of the health department to identify all possible close contacts. If you have not been contacted, your child is not a close contact of the individual, and therefore your child is not required to quarantine. The District will be working closely with the Tuscola County Health Department to assure our community's health and safety.

Today is the last day of our second trimester. All students will be dismissed at 11:30 AM today.
Patriot Families,
Now that the second trimester is coming to an end, we feel that the P.A.S.S. program is not necesary to continue since all grades will be complete at the end of this week. With that being said, we will adjust our schedule on Wednesday's and we will have a full day of school, with a release time of 2:45pm. Also, please make a note on your calendar that we will have a full day on Thursday, March 11th.

Dear Parents/Guardians:
We have been informed that a staff member in our athletics program has tested positive for COVID-19. The District consulted with the local Health Department to assure our community's health and safety. We have performed contact tracing and determined that there were no students in close contact with the staff member while they were contagious. Fortunately, no students will be required to quarantine.
We continue to take daily precautions to prevent the introduction and spread of viruses and other germs. This includes cleaning frequently touched surfaces multiple times daily and nightly cleaning of all classrooms, restrooms, and any other areas used by students. The status of this situation is fluid, and we are monitoring it closely.

Parents, Athletes, Community Members,
The 2020-21 winter sports season has finally kicked off, and we are beyond excited! We know fans are limited, but we can still cheer on our Patriot athletes from a distance. We are offering an opportunity to show your support and encouragement towards our athletes through signs to be showcased at each home game by placing them in our stands.
Show you support to the team or athlete of your choosing by purchasing a sign. Signs are 24” x 32”. The signs will be sold for $50 and the proceeds will go towards your team.
If you are interested in a sign, please fill out the attached form and return it to Kiersten Gascho in the high school office. You can also complete the online form at bit.ly/3jHAb6s and send a check made out to USA Schools with your student to the high school office.
