March is Reading MonthMDE is celebrating March is Reading Month with a focus on readers of all ages. We will take time this month to share ways to incorporate meaningful literacy practices across grade levels and content areas. A focus will be on sharing resources to support the practices that are available free to Michigan residents through the services of the Michigan eLibrary.
Skylert communication systemSkylert is the communication system for Unionville-Sebewaing Area Schools. The system is be used to let families know about emergency situations, weather-related delays/cancellations, low lunch account balances, student attendance, changes to scheduled events, and general school information. It is also used Information can be received through telephone/cell phone calls, e-mails and text messages. You have control over which notifications to receive and how you would like to receive them, through Skyward Parent Access. Once you have signed in to Skyward Parent Access, locate and click on the “Skylert” tab in the left hand column.

Our School Management System offers multiple avenues to access our system whether from your desktop, tablet, or smartphone. Special School Election - May 3rdWind turbine revenue and reduced debt have created an opportunity for USA Schools to present two proposals for zero tax increase. The first proposal is a 0.25 mill technology bond for the purpose of replacing and equipping classrooms and school buildings with new technology including computers, security equipment and instructional devices. A second proposal is for the creation of a 1.1 mill sinking fund for 10 years to fund major repairs and updates to facilities and grounds. The proposals will not increase taxes, which are projected to decrease due to revenue from wind turbines and reduced debt.

How Do I Register My Child?Stop by the Superintendent’s Office to pick up a registration packet. Office hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00-4:00 P.M. Please bring your child's birth certificate, proof of residency/school of choice form, as well as your child's immunization record.
How to connect to the wireless if visiting USA SchoolsYou can connect to the wifi network while you are at USA Schools. It is open to the public and there no access codes needed. To connect go to ACCESS_USA_Open SSID and you will be on the network. The Student and Faculty networks need you to register by going to the Guest wifi network and then entering your network login that you use for the windows login.
