Connecting Families program helps parents Connecting Families: From cyberbullying and photo sharing to digital footprints and online safety, the Connecting Families program helps parents and kids address important topics and have meaningful conversations about making great choices in their digital lives. This free, year long program includes everything parent facilitators need to encourage communities to use connected technologies in ways that are both fun and safe. Our resources include a step-by-step hosting guide, conversation topics, and printable resources to share -- all carefully researched and crafted by Common Sense educational technology experts.
Skylert Communication System Skylert is the communication system for Unionville-Sebewaing Area Schools. The system is be used to let families know about emergency situations, weather-related delays/cancellations, low lunch account balances, student attendance, changes to scheduled events, and general school information. It is also used Information can be received through telephone/cell phone calls, e-mails and text messages. You have control over which notifications to receive and how you would like to receive them, through Skyward Parent Access. Once you have signed in to Skyward Parent Access, locate and click on the “Skylert” tab in the left hand column.

Internet scholarships REMC 10 in partnership with Huron ISD, Sanilac ISD, Tuscola ISD and SpeedConnect are proud to make 30 Internet Scholarships available to students in need within the REMC 10 service area. Each ISD will be given 10 free Internet accounts through the SpeedConnect wireless Internet system to award as 1 year scholarships. Any student in grades K-11 interested in applying for an Internet Scholarship should first verify that they live within the SpeedConnect coverage area. To verify this, please go to the http://www.speedconnect.com/signalcheck.html web site, enter your home address and click on submit. Your home will need to appear in the pink or blue shaded areas. Please note that many factors such as trees, elevation, large buildings, etc. can impact the ability to get a good wireless signal, the coloring on the web site is not a guarantee that service will be available. To apply, download an application form and teacher support form below, select the correct forms based on the school district that the student attends.
Post-Secondary Decisions When you enter the high school, you'll likely notice the names of our seniors throughout the hallway. We highlight each students' post-secondary plan by posting where they will continue their education or training. USA is proud to create a college-going culture and to celebrate our students' next steps. Congrats to Chelsea, our first senior in the Class of 2017 to determine her post-secondary plan.
Skyward Mobile App Information Mobile Expand your access to vital information while on the move. Our School Management System offers multiple avenues to access our system whether from your desktop, tablet, or smartphone. Responsive design allows access to the full application on tablets and tablets. Mobile-centric applications provide key functionality needed on the move: immediate access to student alert information, student schedules, workflow processing steps, and more. Mobile versions of Family Access and Student Access keep parents and students fully informed on progress to ensure student goals are being achieved.
